Description:
50 Years Since...Salute to the American Flag

Did You Know…July 20 marks the 50th anniversary of the first humans landing on the moon!?! America won the race to the moon and astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin left our mark by planting the American Flag there. Hear the story of NASA’s Apollo 11 lunar mission in One Giant Leap: A Historical Account of the First Moon Landing by Robert Burleigh.

In honor of America’s achievement, give your own salute to the American Flag by creating a painted paper flag collage.
