Students entering grades 5 though 12 are invited to Reaching the Moon: The Apollo Moon Landing presented by Dr. Katherine Auld. This is the fourth session of a 5 session program that will explore the study of space from ancient times through today as well as a look into the future. Each session will include a presentation by Dr. Auld and brain-activating, hands-on projects.
Dr. Auld is the Board Chair of NWA Space, an Astronomer, Solar System Ambassador with NASA/JPL and an Assistant Professor in the Science Department of Northwest Arkansas Community College.
