Description
Bentonville Public Library is excited to team up with Crystal Bridges to discuss their newest temporary exhibition Border Cantos: Sight and Sound Explorations from the Mexican-American Border.
Border Cantos is a unique exhibition that is a timely and relevant arts experience for our community. Knowledgeable staff from Crystal Bridges will lead the discussion and provide an overview of the exhibition, offer insights, and answer questions.

Description
BPL staff will be present in the library at the Community Center to issue library cards, update patron information, renew items, or provide general assistance with accounts. Library cards are free to all residents of Benton County. Current government issued photo ID and proof of residency are required.

The Bentonville Community Center is located at 1101 SW Citizens Circle Bentonville, AR.

Children's Event Guide

Read every day.
Register for the BPL Summer Reading Program.

  • Click the ‘Sign Me Up’ button.

  • Fill out the brief registration.

  • Use child’s fall enrollment information for the school and grade content.

  • Set a goal for the amount of time spent reading this summer.

  • Click here to see the reading goal chart.
    Refer to the week your child will start reading, the amount of time to read each day and enter the highlighted total as the goal when registering.


  • Record daily reading on a log sheet available at the library.
    Beginning June 6, children can:

  • Start reporting their reading totals at the library or online on a weekly basis.

  • Receive a weekly prize to be picked up at the library.


  • When reading goals are met, each child will receive a free book!
    The first 100 children to read 20 hours will receive two free tickets to a Naturals baseball game.
    Last day to report reading times will be July 30.
