Description
Curious Kids Workshop - What to Do with a Box
Aspiring engineers will be presented with a STEM Challenge Card, a box and a mystery bag of basic materials. With a little creativity and team work, kids will complete this design challenge and present their solutions to the group.

Description
Bentonville Public Library is joining forces with Yoga Story to present an 8-week workshop on Meditation and Yoga for Teens. Each week this summer give yourself 30 minutes to breath, focus and exercise.

This special session will run from Monday, June 4 until Monday, July 23.

All participants must bring their own yoga mat or towel. No registration is required, but space is limited.

Register for the BPL Summer Reading Program.

  • Click the ‘Sign Me Up’ button.

  • Fill out the brief registration.

  • Use child’s fall enrollment information for the school and grade content.

  • Set a goal for the amount of time spent reading this summer.

  • Click here to see the reading goal chart.
    Refer to the week your child will start reading, the amount of time to read each day and enter the highlighted total as the goal when registering.


  • Record daily reading on a log sheet available at the library.
    Beginning June 4, children can:

  • Start reporting their reading totals at the library or online on a weekly basis.

  • Receive a weekly prize to be picked up at the library.


  • When reading goals are met, each child will receive a free book!
    The first 100 children to read 20 hours will receive two free tickets to a Naturals baseball game.
    Last day to report reading times will be July 31.
